Depending on the in-situ soil properties, Menard Bachy engineers rely on three particular options for cost-saving:

- Controlled Modulus Columns™
- Allow isolated footings up to 200 t
- Allow slab loads up to 5 t/m2 (much more for particular cases)
- Reduce differential settlement to approx. 1/1000
