Menard Bachy is an Australian company and a member of the international Soletanche Freyssinet Group delivering a comprehensive range of geotechnical construction techniques throughout Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific region.

The expertise of our company is drawn from a history of experience of the two component companies, Menard and Bachy: in ground improvement, foundations and grouting, for application in the development of solutions for the construction of buildings, ports, tunnels and other infrastructure.

Kempsey By Pass Alliance Project

Leighton Contractors have awarded the subcontract for the ground improvement works at the bridge approach abutments which, in total, includes 75,000 metres of CMC and 45,000 metres of Stone Columns.

Port of Brisbane / Area S3B: Vacuum Consolidation works

• installation completed ; total of 93,000m2 with a maximum depth of clay of 40m and including a soil bentonite perimeter barrier 15m deep;
• 18 month period of vacuum application started 9 October 2009; early monitoring indicating excellent performance
