With the new branding of Austress Menard, further success in key projects followed and in May 2005 the company relocated its head office to its current site in Macquarie Park. In November of that year Austress Menard’s technologies and expertise were impressed into the market place by the award of the remediation works to the seawall for the third runway at Sydney Airport. This was followed in February of 2006 by the award of the ground water barrier around the former BHP site at Mayfield in Newcastle, which achieved a world record depth for slurry wall installation of 49 metres.
